I take time before a reading begins to get to know your needs, desires and concerns so that I can assist you as much as possible in the relatively brief time that we have together. Occasionally I will suggest intentions to use in your daily life, additional services, activities, books or videos that may prove to be beneficial, whether they are provided by me or not. Please understand that I do not ask for specific information and I often find it necessary to stop clients from over informing me before the reading begins. I do not want you to walk away feeling that I mined information from you so that I could make guesses or generalizations in my readings. I have sometimes gone on no information when a client is skeptical and in those cases I allow the cards to direct my intuition to find the biggest current issues surrounding a client. Once we arrive at certain points in the reading I will sometimes ask for a small amount of feedback so that I can further delve into the issue at hand. I can go on absolutely no feedback, but I find that clients are much more satisfied when they allow a small amount of communication so that I can drill down further into what they really want to know as we move deeper and deeper into a topic. Occasionally this “checking in” reveals surprising twists to the client, and they realize what they thought they wanted was not really it, and this allows me to “switch tracks” - something not possible if they were tight-lipped and in “judging mode” rather than in a receptive heart centered space with a desire to help themselves. A well-formed question allows for answers to have more meaning. I will help you to form purposeful questions that will have actionable answers and get to the heart of the matter. Depending on the situation I can also assist with formulating intentions and suggest topics to research that may prove beneficial to your general well-being. I am affordable and prefer to spend at least 30-90 minutes with a client in most cases, so that you feel as if you walked away with a deep understanding of your situation, that your burdens have been lifted, that you have begun to have an idea of what you need to do and not do, and that your path has been illumined. “Quick questions” however, are certainly welcome. When providing a tarot card reading, I do not begin your time until I lay down the first cards. I often spend 5-15 minutes to allow for your questions and allow you to share what aspects of your life you desire guidance with. We then will move into formulating pointed questions that will lead to answers that spring forth an opportunity for spiritual growth.
